Sonia Delaunay’s “Les Couleurs de l’Abstraction” exhibition

A Retrospective work of Sonia Delaunay is currently being shown at Musèe d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris until 22 February 2015 with more than 400 works including paintings, wall decorations, prints, fashion and textiles.  The Les Couleurs de l’Abstraction exhibit features her colorful works of art from the start of her life in the 20th century to today.

This monographic exhibition underlines her work as a part of abstractionist and European Avant Guarde Movement. To understand her work from that era in deep context there are photographs and films displayed in the exhibition.  Her rich and vibrant work of abstraction is tested using different kinds of media over the time period of her travels all over the world.

This exhibit is a must see, visit the Musèe d’Art Moderne exhibit to check out her masterpieces from her life expressed in all colors, techniques, and forms.
