Top make-up trends for winter 2015
Fashion week is not all about the new clothing trends, it’s also about the make-up and hair trends for the season. As much as us, fashionistas love a bit of fantasy, we still appreciate a beauty look easy to reproduce at home. This Fall-Winter season has seen a lot of heavy make-up on the eyes with graphic black liner, dark smoky eyes and different shades of red on the lips. But not to worry, there has been some natural/no make-up look out there on the runway shows. Indeed, the flush cheeks is the new contouring. You know these cute cheeks which become pinky when you just got back from being in the cold winter weather? This is the effect we want you to create for this season. If you love experimenting different make-up looks or if your focus is more on your natural beauty, you should all be happy with these 5 trends for Fall-Winter 2015:
1. Berry Red
Yes, the gorgeous and fabulous red lipstick is back this season. Don’t be shy and show your beautiful red lips. You can always keep your eyes really discrete and keep the focus on the lips. This make-up look would be great for a first rendez-vous or an elegant evening with a lovely black dress. So Chic, So French !
2. Smoky Eyes
The smoky eye disappeared in the last season, but now that winter is here and layers on layers are necessary. So you only have your beautiful eyes to show the world – why not give them a sexy look? Don’t hold back on this one, the color (black, brown, red, purple, you decide) must invade the upper lid reaching the lower lid – the key to a good smoky! And of course don’t forget to add the coat of mascara to have the perfect finish.
3. Graphic Liner
Designers such as Fendi, Paco Rabanne, Dior or Rochas have gone creative with their black liner on the catwalk. Why not, it is a cool way to show your creativity. Finish with this cat wing that is so difficult to recreate. Now you have the freedom to mess up your black liner but still look trendy.
4. Flushed Cheeks
The new contouring: natural looking cheeks which just came out of the cold winter! Easy to apply, natural finish look and on top of that, it makes you look healthy. So this is the best option for you if you are more concerned about your natural beauty.
5. Brown tones
Another natural look but still very feminine: the brown tone eye shadows. This look could suit the “no make-up look” perfectly and could slightly be smudged up to have this smoky eye effect but still staying natural. You will be able to find different eye shadows which will look very discrete on the eye lid. Add a coat of mascara, a nice pink lip gloss and these flushed cheeks I was telling you about. That’s your natural look finished for you.
