WARHOL UNLIMITED

For all pop art lovers, the pop art king is in Paris!

I have been with my classmates to this exhibition at Parisian Musée d’Art Moderne and I was lucky to take part in a great artistic journey through Andy Warhol‘s art.

When walking through each of the halls you discover the various inspirations that influenced the creative mind of Warhol. At first there are the paintings, followed by the visual and interactive space and at the end, there are two big rooms with paintings that create an amazing game of perspective. I remember that I already saw a Warhol exhibition at Palazzo Reale in Milan in 2013, but it didn’t effect me that much. As you continue walking through the halls, you come across all sorts of elements that are totally linked with the space, that help the viewer enter into the background of the exhibition.

I found this exhibition amazing, not only because of more than 200 works presented but also because the spectator is totally absorbed, as the space is really connected to the art works. When you go to the museum, usually you see the art pieces as a spectator but here at Musée d’Art Moderne the visitors are interacting with the artwork. Warhol Unlimited  makes you experience all five senses.

If you love both pop art and Andy Warhol, you should definitely pay a visit to this outstanding event.

The exhibition can be seen at Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris until 7th February 2016.
