A FASHION WEEK END IN MILAN, DURING THE FASHION WEEK

It’s February, and like every year the season of fashion week is upon us! Even though I live in Paris now, I decided to back to Milan for a week end, to follow the Fashion Week, meet my old friends and taste the Italian food.

Milan is amazing in these days, the fashion week here is really different from Paris, where it is only possible for people in the industry to take part in the events. In Milan, you can feel the fashion climate around the streets that become a fashion-run for the whole week. Here, fashion is everywhere.

There is the Tortona area, where 80% of fashion shows of Milan Fashion Week are held. If you are without tickets for the fashion show, don’t worry, in Milan, everything is easy going – very often before the start of the event they let people enter even without the invitation (certainly you will not be placed in the first row, but you will have the opportunity to watch the show). Moreover, there are a lot of expositions linked to the fashion week such as White, Super, Fashion Hub, that are free and open for everyone. I love those, particularly the White, where you can see the new trends in  leather and accessories. After 9 pm, as the fashion-run finish, people move to Corso Como and Parco Sempione, where there are a lot of famous clubs that host the Milan Fashion Week’s parties such as Just Cavalli, Eleven, Byblos, and others.

Just before writing this post, I took part in the Philipp Plein‘s fashion show, that for me is the best event about the Milan Fashion Week in this moment. And my lavel of happiness increased even more when I had the pleasure to watch the fashion shows of Prada, Blumarine and MSGM.

I must leave now, because another party is waiting for me, see you next week with the Paris fashion week! 🙂

Also, if you want to check what had happened on the first half of the fashion week, our blog post is right here for you to check!
