Situated in the bustling 9th district of Paris, Buvette gastrothéque steers in a steady crowd most nights. It is the ideal spot for a casual glass of wine with friends, or a delightful bite come day or night.
With an intriguing range of French wines, I obviously dove into this section on the menu first. Friendly staff will guide you through the different wines and their respective regions of origin, so you can find the best to suit your palate. Their beautifully detailed and illustrated drinks menu will keep you browsing through the pages ordering glass after glass. If you prefer hard tack or a classy menu, fear not my friends because Buvette has you covered.
Let’s get down to the food! Their menu is small but everything is absolutely superb. You must try a dish with goat cheese, I recommend the one with wild figs on toasted baguette. Plates are small so don’t be shy to order a few to share, and then order some more just to try! The chef at Buvette has a way with food, and clearly with their customers too because you just keep wanting more!
The interior is enchanting, from neat vintage bottles to shiny cutlery, there is always something attracting the eyes. This quaint spot is one of my favourites in Paris for a quiet and tasty French evening. Get over to Buvette, but remember your wallet because after you’ve tried everything on the menu – things could look pricey!
