Shopping in Paris is a dream come true for many. Depending on whatever your personal style may be – look no further, vintage shopping caters to every feature of fashion.
Paris provides a playground of possibilities from high-end labels to vintage things and everything else in between. As I, being a fashion student myself, cannot really pick up one or two amongst all because there are so many of them. But being lucky enough to live in the beautiful district of Montmartre I focused on Montmartre village which is famous for its vintage stores. Let’s take a look at my favorite ones from the area.
Starting with this legendary store opposite the Anvers metro, SYMPA offers a wide range of products. From gilets, cardigans, parkas, to jeans and everything possible at unbelievable prices.
Further above the hill around the famous Sacre Couer Basilica is a pretty little shop called ANOKI which deals in beautiful handcrafted jewelry which is chic and sophisticated. They even do handbags with Indian motifs, which is why I have an inclination towards this one.
This one is the famous perfume shop in the whole Montmartre. Everything about this classic store is so beautiful and extravagant that in the first instance I was awestruck. Come here for the best quality of perfumes for which Paris is famous and don’t forget to take a peek at their window display too.
This is a paradise for everyone because of their stylish and exotic line of clothing options making it a shoppers favorite. They offer a wide array of pieces from stylish separates , fur jackets, trench coats to semi-precious jewelry and handbags but prices are a notch higher than the rest.
One word for this classic is – Colorful. Chinemachine is a delight to shop from because of their inclination towards colorful pieces all over the store from bags, clothing, jewelry without forgetting shoes!
I accidentally discovered this store for home décor while walking down the cobblestone streets but it caught my eye for its vast collection of lamp shades and other beautiful pieces for our homes.
So that’s my version of the vintage shops in the Montmartre district of Paris, now all you need to do is to hit the road and get hunting. Voila!
