How does your personality and background influence your style?

My philosophy towards style reflects my desire to meet and connect with people. I believe that fashion can be used as an ice-breaker – a means of people to both approach me and for me to approach kindred spirits. I wear my heart on my sleeve in more ways than one. Back in 2010 I worked in sales and realized very quickly that the way I dressed and did my hair and makeup, could influence the way I felt about myself and the way others felt about me. I didn’t turn back.

Does being or living in Paris play a big part in how you dress?

In a way, the fact that I respect fashion in Paris so deeply affects the way I dress every day. I want to make great efforts to be part of the decorative continuum of the city – pulling from its history, its culture, its people and what I see as its future. Working in the fashion industry has inspired me to take even bigger risks.

How would you describe your style?

Quirky and eclectic.

Tell us one trend that you love and one that you hate.

One trend I love: individualism and high-low dressing. One trend I hate: Kayne West – if that’s a trend.

I studied film in NY and moved to Los Angeles after that. I like to travel around a lot so having a budget is key. My style is definitely influenced by how much I can actually spend as well as my surroundings.

How would you describe your style?

It’s pretty deliberate. I’m usually very conscious about how I present myself.

Does being or living in Paris play a big part in how you dress?

As someone who likes to travel, where you are does influence how you dress. In LA, everyone is very casual. I use to wear leggings until I realised that was not a good idea, so I stopped. Here in Paris, I’m more mindful of how my outfit looks.

Capsule wardrobes! Not a huge fan of the side buzz haircut trend.

Could you tell us a little bit of your personal style?

(Guy left) I would say that I enjoy buying and wearing things that I like- but it depends. Yves Saint Laurent, for example, is a brand that I would end up purchasing.

fullsizerenderHow would you describe your style?

(Guy right) Pretty mainstream. But no blazers.

(Guy center) Classy with colors! Chanel is one of my go-to brands.

(Guy right) I would say I’m the same way! Classy with color.

Does being or living in Paris play a big part in how you dress?

(All three agreeing) Not necessarily. When we’re travelling or in London, for example, our style essentially stays about the same. It doesn’t really matter where you come from as long as you know who you are. We would say it’s more of a “lifestyle.”

Tell us one trend that you love and one that you hate.

(Guy right) Hmm… Probably…backpacks.

(Guy center & right) We agree that the “sporty look” is not a good trend..
