Cannes is one of the most stylish red carpets in Europe. The festival marks ialso the beginning of the summer in France and the trends that we are going to see this season. Hair, in particular, was one of the focus points during the festival. All the celebs try the boldest looks at the Frech Rivera.

1.The messy braid

It is a classic of the summer time, the braids have the advantage of always look proper no matter if we try to do them in a messy way. Nicole Kidman and Emily Ratajkowski chose this type of braid in Cannes and they both ended it with a black bow.

2. The short hair

This could be the most summer inspired hair trend. Let’s be honest, with the heat and the humidity it is always a challenge to achieve the perfect hair. If you are bold enough, you can try this trend that will make you save money on shampoo and hair treatments. And it is going to make you look as bold as a  Hollywood star!

3. The Bang is back

The bang was another trend spotted in Cannes. Even though the stars rock the fake bangs, it is the perfect alternative if you are looking for something new. Depending on the shape of your face you can style it in many ways.

4. The knot undone

This kind of knot was created by Jen Atkins, the celebrity hairstylist. This effortless chic style might look simple but it has a real technique into it. The good thing about this trend is that you can create your own version and experiment with different ways of pulling it off.
