5 ways to effortlessly transition your style from fall to winter

It’s hard to believe that we’ve been enjoying such amazing fall in Paris. The weather has been beautiful and the skies have been unbelievably blue. But alas,

And we have devised five quick and easy ways to carry your fall attire into winter.

Adding a lush faux fur collar to your fall jackets not only spruces up its luxe factor, it also keeps your neck warm. You can use safety pins to pin the faux fur collar to any coat or jacket that you own.

If you’re not a fan of faux fur, you can achieve the same layering look with a chunky drape vest. Take a neutral colored sleeveless vest and pair it with a leather jacket for added warmth and style points. The great part about this pair is that the drape vest also acts as a shawl to keep your neck warm during winter.

Just because it’s gloomy outside doesn’t mean that your outfits should consist of basic leggings. Faux leather leggings are a great addition to any winter outfit because they are usually lined with a warm and thick lining, they feel luxe and give your outfit that extra factor.

Instead of buying a very thick winter coat to survive winter with, use the ideologies of fall to carry you through winter without breaking the bank. Layering on a boyfriend cardigan or sweater before wearing your coat is a great way to keep warm without needing to buy a very thick coat.

Winter is coming, this means that in some parts of the world, beautiful snow will fall, and then that beautiful snow will melt into dirty slush and the dirty slush will ruin your beautiful boots. To avoid this dilemma in the first place, you should invest in waterproof boots, or make sure you spray a healthy dose of waterproof spray to any suede or leather boots that you currently own.
