It’s been a long month of exciting fashion shows serving us the best looks and trends for Fall-Winter’19 in New York, London, Milan, and Paris. And in all the hustle bustle there were some shows that completely stood out and made a mark with their visual presentation as an all-around package deal for their shows. Let’s look at some of these shows that were a complete delight this season.
An excellent representation and interpretation of the 1960’s “Youthquake” by Maria Grazia Chiuri. The Dior show with all its glory and wit showcased their collection in sync with the decor at Musée Rodin, Paris.
2. Tommy X Gigi
The Tommy and Gigi collaboration has been a great ride for the brand Tommy Hilfiger and so in their F/W19 collection, they showcased this exciting ride through a racing theme.
#monclergenius was one of the most extraordinary shows this season in Milan. With its simple and purposeful designs, it managed to create a story for its audience with its decor and ambiance.
Despite being controversial and confusing for many, Alessandro Michele managed to create an unexpected buzz in the industry. From the minute you walked into the Gucci show, the operating table, low ceiling and hospital environment was all actually part of a bigger story.
Presenting the #GucciFW18 show space. The concept reflects the work of a designer—the act of cutting, splicing and reconstructing materials and fabrics to create a new personality and identity with them. The materials used are typical of an operating room and the environment around it: PVC on the walls and floors, fire doors with panic-bars, LED lamps, and plastic chairs like those in a waiting room. The LED lighting is stark, white and blinding. Watch the show live on Instagram Stories or through link in bio at 3PM CET. #mfw
Apart from the spectacular collection, Dolce & Gabbana might have just started an exciting trend: the launch of drones with the latest handbags collection was a win-win for the brand.
